Care and safety
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep it away from curtains, shelves above, draughts and anything that can catch fire, and out of reach of children and pets: cats and dogs can knock candles over or burn themselves. Use a taper that stands firmly upright in the holder, place the bowl on a flat, heat-resistant surface, and put the candle out before it burns down to the holder. The porcelain can become hot. Let wax harden before removing it and do not use a knife. Not for food. Porcelain can chip or break if dropped. Handmade pieces vary slightly. Measurements are approximate and colours may vary slightly from images.

Our pieces are made for supervised, indoor household use by pets. They are not children's toys and are not food: keep them, their packaging and any small or loose parts away from children, as these can be a choking hazard. Please check each piece regularly and stop using it if any part becomes worn, loose or damaged. Do not let your pet chew off or swallow any part of a product; if you think it has, contact your veterinarian. Keep away from open flames and heat sources.

Scratchers, mats and similar pieces help reduce wear on your home but cannot prevent it. We are not responsible for marks, scratches or other damage to furniture, floors, walls or belongings.

You know your pet best. It is your responsibility to decide whether a piece suits their size, age, health and habits. If you are unsure, please ask your veterinarian before use.

Measurements are approximate and can vary slightly from piece to piece. Colours may look different from screen to screen and from our photographs. Please choose the size that suits your pet and your space; the choice of size rests with the buyer.

United States orders: US import duties are prepaid and included in your price. In the normal course there is nothing more to pay on delivery. This reflects current practice and is not a guarantee: customs authorities and carriers act independently of us. If a customs authority, government or carrier does assess a duty, tax or fee on your order, it is payable by the buyer and is not refunded by us.

Canadian orders: our pieces ship from overseas, and Canadian customs may charge duties or taxes, sometimes with a carrier handling fee, when your parcel arrives. These are set by customs, are not included in our prices or collected by us, and are the buyer's responsibility. We do not refund or accept returns for orders refused or left unclaimed because of these charges.

We do not charge GST, HST or any other sales tax at checkout: the price you see is what you pay us, with free shipping. Delivery times are estimates rather than guarantees. Please check that your shipping address is complete and correct, as we cannot be responsible for orders sent to an address entered incorrectly.
