Care and safety
Ceramic can chip or break if dropped or knocked: check the bowl before each use and stop using it at once if it is chipped or cracked, as broken edges can cut. Wash the bowl before first use and after meals; we recommend washing by hand. Wipe the bamboo stand with a damp cloth and dry it; do not soak it or put it in a dishwasher. Do not use in a microwave or oven. Do not let your pet chew the stand; contact a vet if your pet swallows any part. Glaze colour and pattern vary from piece to piece and from images. Keep away from the edges of tables and counters, and out of reach of small children.
Washing
Wash before first use and after every meal. Hand wash the bowl in warm water with mild dish soap, rinse well and dry. Do not use a dishwasher, microwave, oven, bleach or abrasive pads. Wipe stands and frames with a damp cloth and dry them straight away; never soak wood, bamboo or metal. Stop using a bowl that is chipped, cracked or scratched, as damaged surfaces can cut and can hold bacteria. The maker does not supply food-safety test reports.
Use & safety
Our pieces are made for supervised, indoor household use by pets. They are not children's toys and are not food: keep them, their packaging and any small or loose parts away from children, as these can be a choking hazard. Please check each piece regularly and stop using it if any part becomes worn, loose or damaged. Do not let your pet chew off or swallow any part of a product; if you think it has, contact your veterinarian. Keep away from open flames and heat sources.
Scratchers, mats and similar pieces help reduce wear on your home but cannot prevent it. We are not responsible for marks, scratches or other damage to furniture, floors, walls or belongings.
You know your pet best. It is your responsibility to decide whether a piece suits their size, age, health and habits. If you are unsure, please ask your veterinarian before use.
Size & colour
Measurements are approximate and can vary slightly from piece to piece. Colours may look different from screen to screen and from our photographs. Please choose the size that suits your pet and your space; the choice of size rests with the buyer.
Shipping, duties & taxes
United States orders: US import duties are prepaid and included in your price. In the normal course there is nothing more to pay on delivery. This reflects current practice and is not a guarantee: customs authorities and carriers act independently of us. If a customs authority, government or carrier does assess a duty, tax or fee on your order, it is payable by the buyer and is not refunded by us.
Canadian orders: our pieces ship from overseas, and Canadian customs may charge duties or taxes, sometimes with a carrier handling fee, when your parcel arrives. These are set by customs, are not included in our prices or collected by us, and are the buyer's responsibility. We do not refund or accept returns for orders refused or left unclaimed because of these charges.
We do not charge GST, HST or any other sales tax at checkout: the price you see is what you pay us, with free shipping. Delivery times are estimates rather than guarantees. Please check that your shipping address is complete and correct, as we cannot be responsible for orders sent to an address entered incorrectly.
